The 2024-2025 season was truly one for the books. As we transition into our summer season, we invite you to stay tuned - new gallery hours and exciting opportunities to experience fine art is on the horizon.

In the meantime, we're taking a moment to reflect on the unforgettable season we've shared. From overflowing openings to meaningful conversations with our most beloved artists, this season was a celebration of art, creativity, connection, and community. We are so grateful to everyone who visited the gallery, supported our events, and helped make this season so memorable.

Please enjoy a look back at a few of our favorite memories from this past season. Thank you for being a part of it.

European Romance

We kicked off the season in style with our European Romance show. To set the tone, we hosted an unforgettable Casino Royale-themed reception that transported our guests to a night of fun and glamour.

The gallery was glowing with the energy of the evening. We had craps and roulette tables to add a playful twist to our usual complimentary chardonnay and champagne. It was a perfect beginning for a season filled with art, elegance, and unforgettable experiences.

George Bodine

We had the honor of hosting George Bodine for our first solo show of the year. It was truly a spectacular evening. George's moody atmospheric paintings captured guests attention perfectly, as did the artist himself. It was a fantastic way to kick off our solo exhibition shows, and we're so incredibly grateful to host and have everyone join us.

Echoes of Sarasota: A Historical Preservation

Echoes of Sarasota was a true monumental exhibition for Palm Avenue Fine Art. We preserved 13 remarkable works of art by Frank Hopper and Regan Dunnick that were originally displayed at the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. Each piece centered around our city's rich history and we were honored to give these works a new life.

EJ Paprocki & Timeless Impressions

The incredible EJ Paprocki graced our presence in February, bringing his expressive style to the gallery. One of the evening's highlight was a moment shared with Robert Vodnoy, music director and conductor of the Chamber Orchestra of Sarasota, who attended to see EJ's painting capturing one of their performances in all of it's glory. Moments like these remind us how art can bring Sarasota's creative community together in meaningful and memorable ways.

Kasia Bruniany

Kasia Bruniany had an excellent exhibition for the second year in a row. The gallery was filled with collectors and admirers all brought together by Kasia's elegant abstraction paintings. Her ability to capture emotion and express a scene with just color and brushwork is outstanding. A great weekend that truly showcased her talent.

Modern Marine Masters

American Society of Marine Artists

In March, we had the honor to partner with the American Society of Marine Artists for a thrilling exhibition featuring a wide array of artists. We thoughtfully hand-selected standout pieces to best represent their esteemed organization. The result was a cohesive, powerful collection that captured the spirit of the sea. From serene coastal scenes to dramatic depictions of epic races. It was a privilege to bring this nationally recognized group to Sarasota and celebrate the best of marine art.

Joseph McGurl

Joseph McGurl was another great legend in the art world that graced us with his presence for a solo exhibition. It was a wonderful opportunity to hear him speak about his techniques and approach to art. It's rare we get such an insightful glimpse into the mind of a truly creative and remarkable artist.

Plein Air in Bloom

Our grand finale for the season was a group show - Plein Air in Bloom. We welcomed 22 of the nation's top plein air artists to fly out and paint our beautiful city of Sarasota. We ended the week by sailing on the Marina Jack II with our collectors, artists and family and friends in an evening filled with beautiful art and stunning views.

Gavin Glakas

We had the privilege of hosting Gavin Glakas from Virginia as our last solo exhibition for the season. His luminous palette captivated our guests, sparking conversation throughout the evening. It was a true pleasure to have him and celebrate his remarkable talent.

Thank you again to everyone who shared this season with us. It was an honor to have you all in the gallery for these events. Whether you stopped in for a quiet moment with the art, joined us for an opening night, or supported our gallery from afar, your presence, enthusiasm for the beauty of art made this season truly special. We're grateful to have such a vibrant and supportive community. We can't wait to see what the next lineup of events has in store!
