We are deeply grateful for everyone who joined us in celebrating the opening reception of Bill Farnsworth's newest exhibition. Thank you for being such an important part of our community.
I am reminded of a quote by the French Impressionist painter Edgar Degas: "Art is not what you see, but what you make others see." Art only comes fully to life through those who experience it. Your presence, curiosity, and enthusiasm are what give these works meaning and allow evenings like this to happen.
We are honored to present the work of Bill Farnsworth. Beyond being a remarkable artist, Bill is an incredible person whose dedication to his craft has earned him an extensive list of accolades. He is a Master Signature Member of the Oil Painters of America and the National Oil & Acrylic Painters' Society, a Signature Member of the American Society of Impressionists and the American Tonalist Society, and a Fellow of the American Society of Marine Artists and an ARC Associate Living Master. His mastery of light and shadow is evident in every piece in this collection.
