Though intimate in scale, this collection is a powerful expression of Henry's skill and perspective. Every element is accounted for, every blade of grass expertly rendered. What stands out most for me is the continuity between the works - together, they immerse you into what is truly authentic old Florida. This series captures the beauty of the Florida landscape.
About the Artist
Henry Von Genk III was raised in Jacksonville, Florida, where his early connection to nature continues to inform his work today. His career spans more than three decades, beginning with large-scale murals for science and history museums - an experience that honed his technical precision - before transitioning into fine art.
This lifetime of dedication has positioned Henry among the most respected voices in contemporary wildlife painting. Just this year, he was named the 2026 Featured Artist for the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition where his exhibition sold out in its entirety. That same level of collector response continued with our recent exhibition, which was fully placed within the first hour of its release.
